You can login to Codecademy Go using the email address and password associated with your Codecademy account, or with your Facebook or Google account. If you use Github, Twitter or LinkedIn to log into Codecademy you’ll need to use your username or email address and password to log in. If you don’t know have this information, follow these steps:
1. Log into Codecademy.com using Facebook, Google or GitHub.
2. Navigate to 'Account Settings' and look up the email associated with the account found in 'Basic Info'. Make sure you have access to this email account or change it to an email account you can access.
3. If you do not know your password , log out of Codecademy.com, go to the Forgot My Password page, and enter the email associated with your account to receive a password reset email and set a new one.
If you initially create your Codecademy account by linking Github, Twitter, or Linkedin to your Codecademy account, you won't have a password associated with the account due to the authentication and will be unable to set one up with the above steps. If this is the case, please do the following:
1. Log into Codecademy.com using Facebook, Google or GitHub.
2. Navigate to 'Account Settings' and look up the email associated with the account found in 'Basic Info'. Make sure you have access to this email account. If you do not, please contact our Customer Support team by selecting "Contact Us" at the top of the Help Center for further assistance.
3. Visit your Linked Accounts page and unlink the necessary account. This will automatically log you out of the account.
4. Go to the Forgot My Password page, and enter the email associated with your account to receive a password reset email to set up a password.
5. Once all set, return to the app and login with the email address associated with your account (found in step #2) and the newly created password.
