Codecademy Teams has 3 user types: Learner, Admin and learner, and Admin only.
- Learner: (formerly Team Members) do not have access to your Admin Dashboard, but they have full access to our catalog, resources, and community. This user type should make up the bulk of your users.
- Admin and learner: (formerly Account Managers) have the same content access as Learners in addition to admin capabilities in the Admin Dashboard that include the ability to add users, delete users, view Learner reporting, and make changes to their payment plan.
- Admin only: (formerly Free Account Managers/Dashboard only) only have access to the Admin Dashboard, where they can add or remove users and purchase additional seats, and free Codecademy content. This user type does NOT count towards any of your paid seats.
