What are credits, and why do I need them?
Credits are used to generate new projects in AI builder, and for each interaction you have with the AI builder feature.
What credit is received with each plan type?

Subscriber credits:
If you have a Codecademy Plus, Pro, Teams, or All Access subscription, these are included with your subscription plan.
Reset monthly on your billing date.

Free credits
All free/basic accounts will have a one-time set number of credits automatically applied to new accounts.
Additional credits will not be granted to the account and must be used within a year of being granted or will expire.

A la carte boost packet of credits:
These are additional credits available to subscribers that can be purchased if you use all of your credits.
Roll over from month to month for a year from purchase date
What about Teams plans?

Admins and Learners on Teams plans get a monthly set of credits that will renew each month.
Learners cannot purchase extra credits themselves.

How many credits does each plan type grant?
Each plan type will have a set number of credits provided:

Free users: 50 credits
These credits to not regenerate and you will not be able to purchase more as a free user.
User enrolled in a trial: 100 credits
Plus subscribers: 150 credits
Pro subscribers: 300 credits
All Access Pass subscriber: 300 credits
Pro Student subscribers: 300 credits
Teams users (Admins or Learners): 300 credits
How do I purchase more credits and how much are they?
If you are a Pro, Plus, or All Access subscriber looking to purchase more credits, please visit here*link to checkout page if exists. This will grant you the option to purchase an additional 250 credits. You will be unable to purchase more credits as a free user and will need to upgrade a subscription prior.
When do I get more subscription credits?
If you have a Pro, Plus, or All Access Plan, your subscription credits will be automatically reset every month on your billing date. For example, if you have a Pro annual subscription that you purchased on January 20th, your subscription credits will reset on the 20th of each month.
Will my subscription credits roll over month to month?
No, subscription credits with a Pro, Plus, or All Access Plan will not roll over and will be reset each month. However, if you purchase additional credits, these will roll over month to month up until 1 year from the date of purchase.
