Bootcamps are longer, structured programs that combine live instruction, hands-on projects, mentorship, and career-focused learning to help learners build deeper technical skills over several weeks or months.
Workshops are shorter, focused live learning experiences designed to help learners build a specific skill, explore a practical topic, or complete a hands-on project in less time.

On-Demand Access

Codecademy Pro Access
Bootcamp participants receive Codecademy Pro access for the duration of the bootcamp. Codecademy Pro includes advanced courses, coding challenges, and interview prep.
Workshops do not include Codecademy Pro access.
All Access Pass subscribers receive Codecademy Pro access as part of their All Access Pass benefits.
Certificates
Bootcamp learners receive a Professional Certificate upon completion.
Workshop learners receive a Certificate of Completion after completing the workshop.
Community Support
Bootcamp learners receive access to a private community for Q&A and support.
Workshop learners receive access to a Discord community for the workshop. Instructors will answer questions during the live session and in Discord.

Do Workshops include Codecademy Pro access?
No, Workshops do not include Codecademy Pro access.
Codecademy Pro access is included with Bootcamps for the duration of the bootcamp. Codecademy Pro access is also included with the All Access Pass.
I enrolled and paid for a Bootcamp. When do I get my Pro access?
Pro access will be granted when the Bootcamp starts, not upon enrollment.
If you already have a Codecademy subscription, an extension will be added to your existing plan at the Bootcamp start date.
What if I already have a Pro membership? Do I get a discount on a Bootcamp?
We are not currently offering existing Pro members a discount on Bootcamps. However, if you already have a Pro membership, you will receive an extension on your Pro membership when your Bootcamp starts.
Do I get a discount for joining multiple Bootcamps or Workshops?
We do not currently offer discounts for purchasing multiple individual Bootcamps or Workshops.
However, if you are interested in joining multiple Live Learning programs within a year, we recommend looking into our All Access Pass.
What is the All Access Pass?
The All Access Pass gives learners access to eligible Bootcamps, Workshops, and Codecademy Pro.
All Access Pass subscribers can enroll in one Bootcamp at a time. At this time, All Access Pass subscribers can also enroll in unlimited eligible Workshops. More information on All Access Pass here!
