Codecademy is now available in the Google Play store on Chromebooks.
If you’re on a Chromebook, you can download Codecademy as an application in the Google Play Store and launch Codecademy from your desktop, for free! The Chromebook version of Codecademy has the same content and learning experience as www.codecademy.com. You can also still use Codecademy from your web browser on Chromebook if you choose to. Your progress and stats will continue to sync with your account, regardless of using the Chromebook app or web browser.
We are currently only offering 12-month subscriptions with no trials, if you decide to upgrade to Codecademy Pro via your Chromebook and the Google Play Store. Please note that your payment will be processed via Google Play. If you want to start a trial or upgrade to a monthly plan, you can do so from Codecademy's checkout page.
Note: Codecademy is available as an application in the Google Play Store on Chromebook. This is different from Codecademy Go, which is our mobile application available in the Play Store on Android devices and App Store on iOS devices.
