All Your Questions, Answered.
What to learn next? What's wrong with my code? What do I need for my portfolio? Whether you're looking for advice on a personal project or guidance on your next career step, Code Coaches have you covered.
To keep tracking toward your goals, we recommend you meet with a Code Coach at least once per week.
Meeting Your Code Coach
Immediately upon booking your session, you'll receive an instructional onboarding email (subject: IMPORTANT – about your Code Coach appointment) containing information that is unique to your upcoming meeting.
Note: you'll choose how you meet with your Coach during the booking process. Currently, some Coaches only support text-based chat, so if you'd like to meet via audio/video, try selecting another Coach from our team page.
Online Meeting Location
Text-based Chat (type)
Log in to Codecademy at the time of your scheduled session. Your Coach will send you a chat message to begin your session, you’ll see a chat icon appear in the bottom right corner of your screen.
Video + Audio Chat (talk)
After you've booked your session, you'll receive an onboarding email with instructions listing the location in the form of a unique URL. You'll use this link to join your meeting at the scheduled time of your session. Once you've launched the link, be sure your mic and sound are on (video, while much more personal, is optional).
